Fogg have delivered a brand and a website that will be instrumental in the development of the Planet group of companies globally. Planet Forward is a US based global recruitment firm working across multiple industries such as energy, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, consulting and creative. Consisting of a group of brands the business had an already well established profile in the US but wanted to grow its reputation across the UK and wider European countries.
The business also needed a more advanced digital solution that was able to seamlessly integrate with a complex third party provider.
From our early conversations with and getting to know the CEO, it was clear that what was required was much more than a design solution. What the business needed was a competitive advantage.
Our starting point was to identify a positioning that defined the Planet Group for both now and in the future. Our approach therefore was to listen and learn. A research programme took place where we spoke to colleagues, clients and candidates, to understand their perceptions of the business and its people. Many common themes emerged that gave us an incredibly strong strategic and creative direction on which to build an effective platform that allowed each business within the group to own something that was individual to them.
The proposition differentiates the business and creates a real statement about the type of the business they are. It reinforces and articulates their drive and determination without being overtly aggressive. Each business within the group had a very distinct audience profile and therefore required a very unique visual execution within a collective framework. Each brand was executed through new identities and bespoke photography, shot in the UK. Five new websites were also created with live jobs board functionality that linked to their back end CRM system. Since the launch of the brand we have become their digital partner, supporting the business with various complex projects including developing bespoke Facebooks apps for all of their business to promote jobs and manage applications.
